  14. <p>     DIED. Sylvia Fine Kaye, 78, songwriter and widow of the
  15. entertainer Danny Kaye, for whom she created his most famous
  16. stage and film material; of emphysema; in New York City. Kaye
  17. wrote the music and lyrics for many of her husband's films
  18. including The Kid from Brooklyn (1946), The Secret Life of
  19. Walter Mitty (1947), The Inspector General (1949) and The Court
  20. Jester (1956). Among her best-known compositions was the
  21. "Tchaikovsky number" from Lady in the Dark, in which Danny raced
  22. rhythmically through the names of 51 Russian composers.
